Product detailed description

Fimanet PA6-GF10 represents the ideal balance between mechanical strength and processability. The glass fibers in the structure act as a reinforcement that prevents the material from twisting (warping) during printing and ensure that the resulting parts are extremely strong and resistant to deformation even under higher loads.
Key features
• Excellent stiffness and strength: Thanks to the 10% glass fiber content, the material is much stronger in tension and compression than conventional plastics (PLA/PETG).
• High thermal resistance: The parts withstand temperatures up to 120 - 150 °C (depending on load), which allows them to be used in engine compartments or industrial machines.
• Low shrinkage: The glass fibers stabilize the polymer, minimizing the risk of corners peeling off the substrate.
• Chemical resistance: Excellent resistance to fuels, oils, lubricants and many solvents.
• Matte surface: Prints have a professional matte finish that effectively masks layers.
Technical parameters and printing recommendations
Working with PA6-GF10 requires experience and an equipped printer (especially an abrasive nozzle).

Application examples
• Automotive industry: Engine covers, cable holders, intake manifolds.
• Mechanical engineering: Gears, stressed hinges, clamping fixtures and assembly templates.
• Outdoor: Drone structural elements, impact-resistant sports equipment.
Tips for working with Fimanet PA6-GF10
1. Abrasivity: Glass fibers are very hard. A regular brass nozzle can be destroyed after just a few hours of printing. Using a hardened steel nozzle is a must.
2. Material drying: Polyamides (nylon) are extremely sensitive to moisture. We recommend drying the filament before printing (min. 4-6 hours at 80 °C). Wet material causes bubbles in the structure and poor adhesion of the layers.
3. Substrate adhesion: For best results, use a special nylon adhesive (e.g. Magigoo PA) on a glass or PEI substrate.
