PC-WR is an advanced polycarbonate composite that solves the main weaknesses of conventional polycarbonates – high susceptibility to moisture and embrittlement when exposed to external influences. It is designed for functional prototypes, technical components and parts exposed to mechanical stress and higher temperatures.

Key features
• Extreme impact strength: Withstands strong impacts without cracking, making it one of the strongest materials on the market.
• High thermal stability: Extrusions retain their shape even at temperatures exceeding 100 °C (typically up to 110–120 °C depending on the specific mixture).
• Increased water resistance (WR): Special additives reduce moisture absorption during and after printing, preventing material degradation and bubbles in the structure of the print.
• Chemical resistance: Good resistance to oils and many industrial chemicals.
• Machinability: The resulting models can be drilled, ground or tapped without the risk of chipping.
Recommended print settings
• Nozzle temperature: 250 – 280 °C (requires full metal hotend).
• Bed temperature: 100 – 120 °C (requires the use of adhesives such as Magigoo PC or 3DLAC).
• Closed chamber: Highly recommended to prevent warping and delamination of layers during cooling.
• Print speed: 30 – 50 mm/s (slower printing ensures better layer cohesion).

User warning: Polycarbonate is highly hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air). To achieve high-quality results, we recommend drying the filament before printing (e.g. 4–6 hours at 80 °C) and storing it in a dry-box during printing.
