Fimanet PETG-CF is an improved version of classic PETG, to which chopped carbon fibers are added. The result is a material that prints almost as easily as regular PETG, but offers much higher dimensional stability, lower weight and a matte surface with a fine texture. It is an ideal choice for those who need strong parts without the complexity of printing nylon (PA).

Tips for working with Fimanet PETG-CF
1. Be careful with the nozzle: Carbon fibers act like a "saw". To maintain print accuracy, a hardened steel nozzle is essential.
2. Retractions: PETG-CF tends to string less than pure PETG, but it is still a good idea to have the retractions properly tuned.
3. Storage: Although PETG is more moisture resistant than Nylon, carbon fibers can bind moisture. For the best surface finish, we recommend storing in a dry place.
